Child Protection Curriculum

At Our Lady of Grace School, all staff are trained to deliver the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC), an evidence-based child safety and respectful relationships program taught across all CEWA schools. The KS:CPC is delivered to students from Kindergarten to Year 6, with a different focus explored each term.

Through age-appropriate learning experiences the  curriculum supports children and young people to:

  • understand that they have the right to be safe
  • recognise unsafe situations and signs of abuse
  • develop and apply strategies to protect themselves
  • identify trusted adults and seek help when needed
  • report concerns in a safe and appropriate way

Education plays a vital role in protecting the rights and wellbeing of all children. By participating in the Keeping Safe program, students are empowered to advocate for their own safety and the safety of others.
